Absolutely! We believe in standing behind what we sell. If equipment fails to operate within one year from the date of purchase by the buyer, Denver Breaker & Supply will, at our option, repair or replace the equipment. All warranty work is performed at our facility in Denver, Colorado.
Of course, even good equipment comes with a few ground rules (we wish everything came with an easy button).
Here’s how our warranty works:
- Coverage: Our warranty covers equipment failure within one year of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
- Repairs and replacements: Denver Breaker & Supply will determine whether the equipment will be repaired or replaced.
- Shipping costs: If equipment is found to be defective, the cost of shipping it back to Denver Breaker & Supply will be credited.
- What’s not covered: The warranty does not cover the cost of removing equipment from service, reinstalling it, downtime, loss of use, or expenses incurred in returning goods to Denver Breaker & Supply.
- What voids coverage: The warranty does not apply to defects resulting from accidents, negligence, abuse, misuse, improper storage or maintenance, improper installation, damage in transit, or alterations or repairs performed by third parties after service or sale by Denver Breaker & Supply.
- Filing a claim: All warranty claims must be submitted in writing within six months of the failure and must include a detailed description of the deficiency.
The bottom line: We want you to get the most out of your equipment, and if something goes wrong, we want to help make it right. Just keep in mind that warranty coverage has its limits—and unfortunately, it doesn't cover every plot twist in an equipment's life.
If you have questions about whether a particular item qualifies, our team is happy to help clarify the details.
We understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. While we can’t promise every purchase will be a perfect match, we’ll do our best to make the return process straightforward—as long as you follow a few ground rules. After all, even breakers have their limits!
Here’s the fine print (without the tiny font):
- 60-Day Return Window: No returns will be accepted after 60 days. If something needs to come back, please don’t wait until it’s a distant memory.
- Authorization Required: All returns must be pre-authorized by Denver Breaker & Supply. Please contact us before sending anything back—surprise packages are great for birthdays, not returns.
- Restocking Fees: All returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%. The exact fee will depend on the return.
- Payment Methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as ACH payments and physical checks.
- Returned Checks: A $35 fee applies to any returned check. Unfortunately, a check that bounces is no laughing matter.
- Collection Costs: The purchaser is responsible for any collection costs and attorney fees incurred.
Simply Put: If you need to return something, give us a call first. We’ll help you understand the process, applicable fees, and next steps before you send it our way. A little communication upfront can save everyone time, money, and a few headaches.
We sure do! Before you write off a piece of equipment, let us take a look. Sometimes, a little expert attention is all it needs to get back in the game.
Our experienced team offers free evaluations to help determine what your equipment needs and how we can help. Give one of our knowledgeable team members a call to get started.
Why replace it if you may be able to recondition it? Let our team help you explore your options before you throw in the towel.
We don’t believe in cutting corners—especially when it comes to electrical equipment. At Denver Breaker & Supply, we follow the latest ANSI/PEARL Electrical Equipment Reconditioning Standards (EERS) to ensure our reconditioning work meets established industry standards.
As one of PEARL’s original members, we’ve been committed to quality, safety, and industry standards for decades. Our technicians hold Level 1 and Level 2 certifications and bring the experience and attention to detail needed to do the job right.
And when we say we check our work, we mean it. Everything that leaves our facility is checked, double-checked, and given the attention it deserves.
Decades of experience. Certified technicians. No shortcuts. That’s how we keep quality switched on.
Absolutely! One person’s surplus is another person’s solution. For over 40 years, Denver Breaker & Supply has traveled our great nation purchasing electrical surplus and giving quality equipment a second chance at a useful life.
We buy a wide variety of products, including circuit breakers, panel-mount switches, transformers, MCC buckets, bus plugs, and much more. If it’s electrical equipment, we’re interested in hearing what you have.
Over the decades, we’ve had the pleasure of working with all kinds of people—from contractors and farmers to manufacturers and businesses looking to clear out extra inventory. We’ve met some amazing folks along the way, and we’re always happy to meet more!
We also believe good equipment deserves better than a trip to the landfill. By purchasing and reusing surplus electrical products, we help keep valuable equipment in circulation and put it back to work where it’s needed.
Ready to clear some space and turn that surplus into cash? Give us a call or email us a list of the items you have for sale. We’ll take a look and see what we can do.
After all, one person’s dusty warehouse inventory might be exactly what someone else has been searching for!
Electrical emergencies don’t exactly check the clock before showing up. They don’t care if it’s 2 a.m., a holiday, or the middle of a long weekend—and neither do we!
At Denver Breaker & Supply, we offer after-hours emergency service at NO extra cost to you. Day or night, rain or shine, weekends or holidays, our team is ready to help when you need us most.
When an electrical emergency strikes, the last thing you need is to wait until Monday morning. We’re here to help keep things moving, no matter what time it is.
After Hours Emergency? Give us a call!
Because emergencies don’t keep business hours, and neither should dependable service.
