What is suffix Y for BDA and BGA Breakers?
- Applies to I-line, 2p and 3p, Powerpact B breakers, with prefix BDA24, BDA34, BGA24 and BGA34
- The suffix Y applies to 2p and 3p I-line Powerpact B breakers that are rated to be used on a system with a maximum nominal voltage of 480Y/277 Vac.
In others words Y stands for WYE and should not be used for 480 V Delta applications.
